I was reading Digg yesterday morning as I often do and someone posted an article from Mother Jones entitled “The Middle Class Really is in a Three-Decade Slump” which made me think of the “Downward Class Migration” video Jack Spirko put out that I blogged about on my old blog awhile back here: Primal Troy: Downward Class Migration. So I am thinking, ahah! Others are beginning to see it too! Yes, there has been good news on the jobs front lately but the overall, long running trend is still that things have been getting worse in this country for the middle class for decades but most people haven’t really realized it because of the facade created by free flowing credit up until the housing market crash and subsequent credit tightening of 2008-2009. Since that credit well dried up on a lot of people, some folks are starting to look around and see the forest for the trees. Why do we care about this?
