Two Trees is one of Em’s most popular paintings based on feedback from various shows and forums where it has been displayed. It is an acrylic painting on a 16″ x 20″ canvas which she painted in September of 2010. The trees on either side of the woman are wisteria on the left and apple to the right. The crashing waves of water below her signify the ever-changing flow of life. Some people have commented that this painting is very ‘Birth of Venus’ like and we have to admit we can see the resemblance ourselves.

If You Don’t Know What It Is Poke It With A Stick handmade wood burned sign. These original pyrography pieces are hand made and include a genuine stick for poking oddities in case of emergency. ‘She’ is an original oil painting by Emily Dewbre-Young on a 16″ x12″ canvas panel mounted in a rustic reclaimed wood frame. In some cultures goddesses are associated with Earth, motherhood, love, and the household. In other cultures, goddesses also rule over war, death, and destruction as well as healing.  ‘She’  was captured on canvas in 2009 and has received a great deal of positive feedback in shows but so far has not found a home. This painting depicts the sacred feminine concept and earth mother goddess or Gaia beautifully while also incorporating the symbol Om. For the Hindus & Buddhists, Om is the primordial sound, the first breath of creation, the vibration that ensures existence.
