Digital Painting It’s just a camera phone shot of a try at computer work again. It’s actually a small piece of a painting I did that I didn’t like when I was done except for her. So I just worked around the one part I liked. Don’t know if I’ll do anything with image but it was fun to mess around with.

Small Business Spotlight
Ammo Box Well, I sent out emails to folks, mentioned in previous posts that I was looking for someone to spotlight and otherwise begged and pleaded but, alas, I have not heard back from anyone to feature today for Small Business Spotlight but no worries! I have something else I can share with you today that we’ve kind of been sitting on. Back in February Em’ was contacted by a fellow who wanted to commission a special gift for a family member who is a Scout Leader to be given during an upcoming award ceremony.
We didn’t want to post this during March because we didn’t want to run the risk of possibly spoiling the surprise in case the recipient somehow got wind of it. What the guy had was on old Ammo Box that he wanted to have sanded and painted back to it’s original green color then decorated with the emblems of the scout troop and other symbols representing the Boy Scouts Of America.

Fairy To The Rescue
A new drawing Em’ did today in three stages of progress. I think the idea is the puppet was tired of having someone else always pulling her strings so the fairy came by with her scissors and set her free. What do you think?

Whose Shop Is This Anyway?
Breath Of Fire by Emily Dewbre-Young So, we tried the Etsy, Artfire, deviantART and other things over the past couple of years and here’s what we thought of the experience. As always your mileage may vary but, again this is our experience with such sites. When you build your online presence on someone else’s site the relationship is always more to the benefit of the someone else than it is to you.
