Well, here’s what we found, heard about, were told about or otherwise fell into…

So, we tried the Etsy, Artfire, deviantART and other things over the past couple of years and here’s what we thought of the experience. As always your mileage may vary but, again this is our experience with such sites. When you build your online presence on someone else’s site the relationship is always more to the benefit of the someone else than it is to you.

Here’s a new one Em’ just finished up in the studio recently on a canvas panel. So far we’re kind of stumped on coming up with a name for this one. Can you help?
Sarah and Keith were getting married and needed some rustic, wood burned signs made up to point their guests to the proper place. So, they got in touch with Primal Aspects and Em’ went straight to work. Thanks ya’ll and may you have many happy years together!
Violet wanted a wood burned sign to give as a housewarming gift to her nephew and his wife who had just purchased a piece of land that they planned to develop into a place to be nature friendly to man and wild beast. They named their new place ‘Lake Bliss’ and she told us that they were both fond of butterflies and hummingbirds so at first the plan was to put both onto the sign.

“[I am a] Dallas area curious artist, living one day at a time for a strengthened tomorrow, and just spreading creativity. I think people are mysterious and amazing, and benefit to believe, like me, that we are all deeply engaged and engaging in directly affecting spontaneous beauty into our lives. I am discovering more and more, and grateful for my life’s opportunity.”

I love art! Whether its crayons, paints, markers, gel pens, polymer clay and even rocks! I’ve always been a creative individual and enjoy making things like candles and jewelry and costuming. In the past, I used that same creative talent on the computer as a graphic artist and web designer creating logos, websites, promotional items and more.
In 2007, after having brain surgery to remove a tumor from the right side of my brain, my talents shifted.

Well, aside from the obvious that artists have to eat too and if they can’t make a living with their art they might give it up and go toil away at some other task, never to share their art with the world again. Okay, maybe that’s a bit melodramatic, but it could happen! Seriously though…
