The Art of Emily Dewbre-Young meets Thoughts, Humor and Primal Living in DFW, Texas

We’re starting a new commission piece this week that should prove to be an interesting project. A friend of ours has taken two old license plates and cut his name and that of his wife into them and wants them mounted onto a board upon which Em’ will be burning a scene along the famed Route 66. Across the bottom of the 20″ by 30″ board will be hooks so it will double as a coat rack. Hopefully we will have some progress shots to share with you as this moves along. We are planning to frame the edges of the piece with weathered wood from some old fence panels to give it a nice, rustic look. Some portions of the scene might get painted in to give it a splash of color as well. Stay tuned for more details!
Sarah and Keith were getting married and needed some rustic, wood burned signs made up to point their guests to the proper place. So, they got in touch with Primal Aspects and Em’ went straight to work. Thanks ya’ll and may you have many happy years together!
Violet wanted a wood burned sign to give as a housewarming gift to her nephew and his wife who had just purchased a piece of land that they planned to develop into a place to be nature friendly to man and wild beast. They named their new place ‘Lake Bliss’ and she told us that they were both fond of butterflies and hummingbirds so at first the plan was to put both onto the sign.
